Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the American sweetheart after she took home American Idol in the first series. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame and fortune, but it also secured her an arrangement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. In the years since, she's made several studio albums. Three have reached the US Billboard 200 charts while other albums were just a hair way away. She is considered one of most successful American Idol artists. In order to achieve success she played around with various musical styles, and explored themes. In recognition of her talent and uniqueness, she has received a lot of praise as well as awards. She has been awarded Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award 3 times. Music isn't the only thing she does. Her appearances in movies and television programs. She is also the author of her children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in several charities.
