She was married to him from 1984 to 1988. [9][10] Between 1989 and 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has one daughter named Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell was married to actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11following the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere that was born in February 2000. [2] After eleven years of marriage, they split in September of 2013. The couple sat for three years fighting divorce proceedings in New York Supreme Court. [12] The case was settled in October of 2016. [13]
